Am looking for ways to improve my neighborhood, and to get others involved,be it mowing vacant lots, etc. Also find a way to get absentee homeowners to keep up their property.

AMEN!!Glad to know someone else is interested in this subject. Have called the Mayor's action line to no avail. Next door is a house from Katrina, and the homeowner just does enough work on the house to keep the city happy. We have several homeowners we need to contact in South Jackson.
